25 Weeks

All ready for the Super Bowl!

How far along:  25 weeks
Gender:  Girl
Belly button in or out: Pretty much the same, and definitely making through-the-shirt appearances this week.
Maternity clothes:  I bought one of those belly bands last weekend but haven't tried it out yet since
I either just wore maternity pants or sweatpants this week (thank you, blizzard, for giving me two days at home this week!)
Stretch marks: None yet.
Sleep: Good! But never enough.
Best moment this week: Another doctor's appointment confirming all looks good. Getting to hear her heartbeat is still the best!
Miss anything: Being able to comfortably sit in the car for more than 10 minutes (back & rib pain). And I'm pretty sure it's only going to go downhill from here.
Movement:  Yes & lots of it. :)
Cravings:  Still loving anything sweet.  We've got about 15 green bananas on the kitchen counter with my name on them! Yum.
Queasy or sick:  Feeling good.
Looking forward to:  Next weekend?  "Traveling" for work this week means no kitty cuddles until Friday night and makes for an extra long week.  I'm already looking forward to coming home!

24 Weeks

Yes, I was as tired as I look...

How far along:  24 weeks
Gender:  Girl
Belly button in or out: It's really trying to hang onto any bit of innie it has left.
Maternity clothes:  Same as before.
Stretch marks: None yet.
Sleep: Good!  Still having some crazy dreams though.
Best moment this week: Every night when my head hit the pillow. ;)
Miss anything: Being able to fit into all my normal clothes.  Seeing all kinds of cute things on the J.Crew Factory website and knowing I wouldn't actually be able to wear them for awhile is kind of a downer.
Movement:  Yep. I swear she had a little dance party when "God Made Girls" came on the radio in the car one morning. :)
Cravings:  Still loving anything sweet.
Queasy or sick:  Still feeling good in the queasy department, but my back has been hurting when I do anything but lay down. It's especially bad sitting in front of a computer for 10 hours straight.
Looking forward to:  May 15th. ;) 16 weeks to go.  Is it too early to be counting down?

This was also the first week that someone who didn't know I was pregnant, asked me if I was.  I saw her for 3 days before she noticed (somehow - I'd say it's pretty obvious) but still!

This week I also came across these cat head decals and am a little obsessed.  I actually really like a lot of the different decals they have, but I definitely want something "cat" for the nursery and these may be the winners.   They come in all different colors, too.  So if I ever decide which shade of gray we want to go with for the walls, maybe I can pick out a color for these - I'd probably do white, a different shade of gray, or maybe silver to match the letters I got?

Again, I really need to narrow down everything I like, but I don't know if I can resist the felines! :)

23 Weeks

How far along:  23 weeks, which apparently means I'm in the 6th month now!
Gender:  Girl
Belly button in or out: What's not out is flat.
Maternity clothes:  Same as before.  There was no way that jacket was going to button, but it still worked (I think)! ;)
Stretch marks: None yet.
Sleep: Good!
Best moment this week: I don't know that this was the best moment, but I was told by several different people that I "actually look pregnant now" and got lots of comments on my bump.  Not sure what I looked like before, maybe like I ate too many ice cream cones.
Miss anything: Being able to comfortably put my socks and shoes on.
Movement:  Some days she moves around like crazy, others she's not quite as active. But definitely feeling it every day, throughout the day.
Cravings:  I'd say coffee ice cream is #1, but really just food in general has been good in my book.
Queasy or sick:  Feeling good.
Looking forward to:  Enjoying my last full weekend off until mid-April (wah).

22 Weeks + Ellia's Nursery

How far along:  22 weeks
Gender:  Girl
Belly button in or out: Still partially in and partially out.
Maternity clothes:  Definitely noticing my regular shirts starting to get shorter and shorter...
Stretch marks: None yet.
Sleep: Good!
Best moment this week: Some short commutes this week meant I got to sleep in - until 5:45 ;)
Miss anything: Not baby related, but I'm really missing summer right about now!
Movement:  She seemed to be the most active this week whenever I was in some kind of meeting at work. Not distracting at all. :)
Cravings:  Still loving sweets.  Pretty sure I've eaten more toast with cinnamon sugar in the past few weeks than I have in the rest of my life combined.  Ice cold water is always good, too.
Queasy or sick:  Feeling good.
Looking forward to:  The brownies I'm making for dessert tonight.  Just being real.

I thought I'd share some of my ideas for Ellie's nursery.  Here are the three paint colors we're deciding between.  I thought we I had made our decision (who was I kidding), but I think I want to paint a bigger section of the wall before I decide since we have the samples anyway.  The colors look a little different actually on the walls than they do here.

I bought these white & gray polka-dot sheets on Amazon (for $10!).  We're not going to pick out a whole crib bedding set (since she can't actually sleep with blankets for a while, anyway). So, I'm just going to get a few sheets, maybe a crib skirt, and call it a day.

We also got this rug from Home Decorator's Collection a while ago.  I might regret the white, but it really helps to brighten up the room.  Our kitties love it, too.

There are no ceiling lights in two of our three bedrooms, which kind of drives me crazy.  Needless to say, we'll need some kind of lighting!  So far these lamps from Target are my top choice, and they'll pretty much match anything else we use in the room.Safavieh Norwich Table Lamp (Set of 2)
I also ordered these letters to spell out baby girl's name above her crib.  I really liked these ones from Anthropologie, but they were a little out of my price range.  I bought similar letters from this same etsy shop before and really like them, so I think they'll look pretty cool. :)

These beautiful hand painted silver letters are great for putting names, initials, and quirky sayings in any room in your home! They can stand

I'm unsure about getting a mobile, but this pretty little thing might convince me to get one.

There are approximately 5 million prints on etsy that I like and I find more everyday, so I'm still working on narrowing it down.  Here are a few of my favorites at the moment.  They're digital so they're super cheap - just print and find a cute frame!

21 Weeks

How far along:  21 weeks
Gender:  Girl
Belly button in or out: It's gone back and forth this week... about 1/3 of it seems to remain out at all times now though.
Maternity clothes:  Same as before.  Really liking my jeans from Old Navy and leggings from the Gap.
Stretch marks: None yet.
Sleep: Still pretty good.  Definitely having lots of strange dreams though.
Best moment this week: Another ultrasound, meaning I got to see baby Ellie again :)
Miss anything: Not getting out of breath from hardly doing anything.
Movement:  Yes & loving it.  It's weird to see my stomach start to actually move around a bit :)
Cravings:  Still loving anything sweet - fruit, ice cream, smoothies, just to name a few.  I was slightly devastated when we got home from the grocery store and realized the ice cream container had been sliced open (probably with a box cutter), so in the trash it went...
Queasy or sick:  Feeling good.
Looking forward to:  We got our paint samples today and just tried them out!  Hopefully we'll be able to decide on a color in the morning when we can see them better in the natural light.  Also, it's officially Ellia's birth year! Only 133 days until her due date, but who's counting? :)

And a little throwback to New Year's Eve 2004 - 10 years ago already ;)
