I am pretty much the definition of a homebody, so me with a 2 month old brings it to a whole other level. But, at least I have an excuse now, right? Needless to say, we had a very low key day at home for my birthday. It started off with Tyler making me a delicious breakfast. I was so impressed with the presentation - he must be taking notes. ;)
We spent the rest of the day just hanging out. We caught some rays + listened to some tunes on the deck, and got some afternoon cuddles in. We thought about going out to eat but ended up getting Chinese takeout instead. Tyler got an ice cream cake and Ellie helped me blow out the candle. And I was in my pajamas by 8:00, trying to get Ellie to sleep (spoiler alert, she didn't sleep).
25 will be a hard year to beat but I'm looking forward to 26 and a year of adventures as a family of three (six).
