I'm sad that another weekend is over, but ours was a pretty good one!
We did a little relaxing, enjoyed the beautiful weather, and attempted
to catch up on the crazy amount of laundry that we had piled up – funny how
much more laundry one tiny person can generate. ;) On Sunday, we celebrated my mom’s birthday at
my parents’ house. I’ve eaten enough
Chinese food and cake this weekend to last me until next year. :) Ellie’s solid food eating success continued,
as did her extreme mess-making skills.
We filled up her kiddie pool on Monday and us girls took a (very chilly)
dip. I hope she continues to love water
as much as she does now! Despite the hot
summer weather, our leaves are changing colors and already falling from the
trees. Fall will be here so soon, but I
always forget how nice the weather is in September, or at least the first couple
weeks, so I’m pretty content for now. :) Tyler surprised me with my first hot apple
cider from Dunkin’s on Saturday (he's the best) and I was so excited! I’ll definitely be getting my fill in before
they’re gone for the season.

Can you say twins??

My mom looks like she's young enough to be Ellie's mom, right?! I hope those good genes got passed along to me. ;)
In other news, I'm excited to announce that I've teamed up with Rad Haus and their new website that will be launching later this week. I will be a regular contributor over there, but don't fret - there will be plenty of posts + Ellie spam here, too. ;) That being said, if there's anything you'd like to see more of here, I'm all ears! While I really do write for my own enjoyment, I know I do have some readers and would like them to enjoy it, too. I was busy writing up my first Rad Haus post this weekend - stay tuned for more info! :)
Happy (it's already) Tuesday!
How exciting!!!! Looking forward to checking it out!!! and yes. Tyler & Ellie are definitely twins haha. So cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks, it should be fun!! :) and I know.. Every day they look more and more alike. She looked like me when she was like a week old, that's about it. ;). Maybe the next one will get mama's genes haha
