Wednesdays are my Monday, therefore they kind of blow (if I'm being honest). Seriously, four days at home flies by but three work days always seem to drag. On work days, I get up earlier than I normally would since Ellie is typically up before I leave now - she's been quite the early bird lately! I'm not complaining about that though because I get to spend some quality time with my little girlfriend before I need to head out the door. :) By the time we get home, make + eat dinner, feed + play with Ellie for a bit, we're all just about ready for bed. Who am I kidding? I'm ready for bed by the time I walk through the door! Like I assumed would happen, I love love love that Ellie is sleeping in our bed still because it means extra cuddles all night long. This is especially nice at the end of a work day! Of course, it's also nice because every time she starts to wake up and her pacifier isn't in her mouth, it's pretty much the end of Ellie's world. So, it's kind of a win-win for everyone having her so close. Perhaps we'll have to work on that whole crib transition soon though... maybe. :)
I'm still planning on putting together our day in the life post. I started it a couple months ago and went back and read it and it's pretty much completely different now so I'll need to rework that bad boy. I know, the suspense is killing you. ;) In the meantime, I took way too many pictures of this cutie in the past two days so here's a little Ellie photo dump for you. It's no wonder I need a phone with more storage!

I bought this made with love outfit last Fall before I knew if we were having a boy or a girl, and figured I'd just make it work either way because I loved it so much. I was so excited to see it kind of fits Ellie now. Babies in sweaters? Too much cuteness.

Anyone else's diaper changes look a little bit like this? She's like a bucking bronco every time she needs her diaper changed or when we're trying to get her dressed. That goofy little face though.. :)

If you missed it on Instagram, you can find my latest Rad Haus post here - I shared some tips for (surviving) the first few months of motherhood. ;) Tips + tricks are always welcome over here!
Here's to hoping this work week goes by quickly!
Diaper changes are dramatic events over here as well! He always tries to escape me haha. Her face in that picture is priceless! So funny & cute!
ReplyDeleteYes, she thinks she's pretty funny. So glad we're not alone! ;) I can imagine a crawling/walking baby is about a million times harder though!
