2015 Family Photos

I am so excited to share our family photos with you all!  As much as I don’t exactly love having my picture taken, I'm so happy we got these done.  I had originally intended to do a newborn/lifestyle shoot at our house after Ellie was born, but decided to put it on the back burner for various reasons.  After seeing these photos, I think we'll have to spring for the newborn shoot next time around! :)  Adrienne Scott was our photographer and we are so happy we chose her.  She was so sweet, made it feel like a comfortable and relaxed setting, and was super quick in getting these shots (which is great because it was freezing out that morning!). Because she told me she reads these ramblings, I'll say it again - thank you SO much for these photos!  They are beautiful and we will definitely cherish our first family photos as a family of three forever.  We highly recommend Adrienne so be sure to check out her page if you're in MA or the surrounding area! :)

While we love them all, I wanted to share some of my favorites here (read: as many as I can without blogger having a meltdown).

After seeing all of our pictures, I made a last minute decision (yep, first full weekend of November is "last minute") to change the photo I wanted to use for our Christmas cards.  I ended up choosing one with a portrait orientation instead of landscape, which had me starting back at square one with designs.  I found this card and fell in love with it (in seafoam), so our cards have officially been ordered and I can't wait to see them in person!  Don't forget, you can get $25 off your next Minted order by clicking here. :)

The rest of our weekend was pretty uneventful.  Ellie and I have already logged a few hours "ice skating" around the kitchen in our socks and Tyler is already sick of my Christmas playlist.  Turns out Ellie loves Sarah McLachlan's Christmas album as much as her mama does! ;) The highlight of my weekend was probably getting some solo time (aside from the two pairs of googly kitty eyes staring at me) in the tub Saturday night - candles and beer included. I think it's going to be my new weekly tradition! :)
