I haven't done a Friday Favorites post in a while because of all of the holiday chaos, so I thought I'd share a few of my favorite things as of late!
First off, this photo of Ellie that is now in my top five favorites of her ever. All the heart eyes for this girlfriend of mine.

I'm also loving the new garland over the letters on her wall. I wanted a way to display photos that could easily be changed out and wouldn't require me to spend a small fortune on picture frames. I got these printed on Snapfish (although almost all places that print photos do square prints these days), used silver glitter clothespins I got from the Target dollar spot over the summer, and attached them to a pompom string that I also had found at Target (it was part of a ribbon set). I really love how it came out and look forward to changing up the pictures every so often! :)

Next up, our friends at Isla Ann Inspirations have some super cute new bow style and color options! I'm not sure that I can pick a favorite because they're all so pretty, but was instantly in love with these sailor bows - how cute would one of these look on a little pony-tailed girl?! I also highly recommend one of our most favorite bows ever. We have it in nude and it goes with everything, hence why Ellie wears it multiple times a week. :) Go check out the shop for you and/or your littles! You can use code NEWYEAR2016 for free shipping through 1/11. It's not too early to grab some spring colors - Easter basket idea, anyone?!
Rugs USA had a huge New Year's sale, and after a little lot of convincing that it wouldn't be a giant pain in the ass to keep clean like the rug in Ellie's room is, I grabbed one I've had my eyes on for a while super cheap (in turquoise, although I really do love the pink too)! I think it's going in our living room, but would also love to put it under our kitchen table! That sounds extremely messy, but the Ellie tornado strikes all through the house, so we'll see. :) There's still a pretty awesome sale going on, so definitely check it out if you're in the market for a rug.
I came to the realization yesterday that I'll likely be able to shop in both the baby and the toddler section at my beloved Baby Gap for Ellie's summer wardrobe as both sections carry 12-18 months in most styles. This is a little bit sad because she's growing too quickly and a lot a bit dangerous (insert one million dollar sign eye emojis here), but mostly exciting because of things like this little swimsuit and this romper... and really all of the new arrivals! They also have a pretty good winter sale going on. I always wait for sales when I buy anything from there and have never regretted buying something in a bigger size and putting it away if I can get it for a good price - just some food for thought for any of you baby clothes obsessed mamas like me!
I went looking for some new underwear on the aerie website because it's been a while (as someone so kindly pointed out to me), and ended up with undies, a bra, a pair of joggers and two sets of Halloween napkins. All aerie clearance is an additional 60% off! $12 joggers?! Sign me up. Also, I'm never opposed to buying Halloween napkins in January if they're only $2. I rarely buy things at full price and kind of like to think of myself as an extreme online shopping coupon-er. ;)
This favorite is kind of random (I guess that's the nature of these posts anyway) but two songs that aren't super new but I can't seem to stop playing them on repeat: David Nail, Night's On Fire + Rascal Flatts, I Like the Sound of That. If you're not a country music fan, you should take a listen anyway because they're really catchy and not super country-ish.

Lastly, just an overflow of Ellie photos from this week that are too cute not to share.

Not pictured: the seventy-five times Ellie made a beeline for the cat food, and more likely than not got a nice little handful of the wet stuff. Word on the street is that she was caught red-handed with catnip cigar yesterday, too. Yes, really a catnip cigar. That's not code for anything, we're just all kind of cat crazy over here. I'm trying to wait as long as possible before putting up the baby gate, but am not sure how much longer we'll be able to leave the girl on the loose. ;)
Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

You are too sweet :) I LOVE the little garland you made...such a cute idea! Also love all the sweet deals you find! Do you use Hip2Save? My sister in law just recently introduced me to it and I'm obsessed...already bought a few things with the sweet deals on there! Ellie on the move is just the cutest! Weston still doesn't even want to try to crawl and basically wants to nonstop stand. Can't trust him to hang on to something standing up though because he just turns around and tries to run away haha trouble maker. Make our babies stop growing :(
ReplyDeleteThank you! No, I haven't heard of that but will definitely check it out! :) also, why do I get the feeling that our babies would get into lots of trouble together?? ;)
DeleteDefinitely check it out :) Oh I can only imagine! Double trouble for sure. Wish we were closer!!!! :(
