Hope you all stayed warm this weekend! It was freezing over here (like negative thirty wind chills), so needless to say we spent our weekend cozy + warm indoors.
Ellie's first Valentine's Day breakfast was definitely a success. Pancakes are hands down one of her top favorite foods, and Tyler made the best heart-shaped ones Sunday morning! We had plenty of food (maybe way too much), pink + red balloons, love letters, a selfie stick family photo session, and spent our whole day in jammies. Also, Pandora Country Love Songs station - why hadn't we met before? It's just too good, guys. A perfect Valentine's Day if I do say so myself. :)
On Saturday night, our friends Karissa and Jack came over for dinner and I made those ice cream sandwiches for dessert. I just used cookies from the bakery at the grocery store, added a big scoop of ice cream, and rolled the sides in festive sprinkles. Super easy and yummy, too!
We're seriously running low on "first holidays" for Ellie, which is a little bit scary! Thankfully, I have a feeling they will only get more fun from here on out - holidays are just so much sweeter with our baby girl in our lives. :)
