This post is coming a week late, but I wanted to include her one year check up stats! ;) Also, these pictures are nearly impossible to take... in case you couldn't tell.
Age: ONE YEAR
Height: 30 inches, 75th percentile
Weight: 20 lbs 15 oz, 50th percentile
Clothing size: She's worn anything from 6 months to 2T in the past month; but if I were to buy something to wear today, I'd get 12-18 months in Old Navy/Baby Gap sizes.
Diaper size: 4
Eating: Ellie loves to eat! She's really not too picky at this point, but if I had to choose a few favorites I'd probably say mac + cheese, scrambled eggs, grilled cheese, crunchies and bananas. She drinks a lot of water and loves her straw sippy cups!
Sleeping: Bedtime is generally around 7:30-8:00 and wake-up time is around 5:00-6:00. On a perfect night (in my book), Ellie will sleep in her crib until 4:30ish and then come in our bed for an hour or so to cuddle and hopefully fall asleep for a bit. She usually wakes up somewhere around three times a night - some nights are definitely better than others. She's still not on any real nap schedule, but most days we can get one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Favorite toys: She just got spoiled with some new toys for her birthday that she loves, but you can check out some recent favorites here.
Loves: The cats. Bath time. Running around like a crazy girl. Eating. Giving hugs + kisses. Books. Her binkies. Going outside. Music + dancing. Climbing anything she can. Sorting.
Least favorite things: Not being able to go down the basement/any door closing. Any kind of restraint. Getting her face + hands wiped after she eats. Sitting still for diaper changes and getting dressed.
Nicknames: She has a million nicknames but some of the more common ones are Ellie, Ells, Ellsie, E. Summer, Baby E/Ellie, Monkey, Baby Girl, and Girlfriend.
Vocabulary: Mumma, dada/daddy, hi/hey, yeah (usually "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah"), and lots of jibberish. I'm trying to teach her to say "kitty" next! :)

Ellie is such a little love! She's always giving hugs, and never fails to grab your face and pull it in close for a sweet little sometimes slobbery open mouth kiss! Her facial expressions are very expressive (for lack of a better word), which is sure to make you smile! Ellie loves to wave and knows what things like "come here", "let me see that" and "don't do that" mean... not saying that she always listens, but she definitely knows what it means! She's working on two teeth that are about halfway in and then she will have a total of eight. She has the funniest fake laugh and loves copying any noises she hears (coughing, growling, elephant noises to name a few). She also loves to help sweep the floors and will grab something from the dirty laundry and help "dust" the chairs/floors/walls. It seems like she's constantly learning new things and gets smarter every day. We are absolutely loving watching Ellie grow! :)
