Love List

1.)  SUMMER. Of course the first thing I've been loving lately is of course the fact that it's officially summer!  There's something special about the first day of a new season that makes everything feel a little bit brand new, am I right? :)

2.)  Homemade popsicles.  I made a few different kinds on Saturday so we could have them ready to eat on Sunday.  Tyler is a huge coffee drinker, so I knew I wanted to make some kind of coffee popsicle for him on Father's Day.

I made a cup of coffee like he normally drinks, added a little bit of chocolate syrup, mixed it together, poured it into our molds about 3/4 the way full and dropped in a few chocolate chips.  I froze them for several hours while we were out, but I think a couple hours would do the trick.  I added a thin layer of ice cream, froze, and filled the rest of the mold with another layer of coffee.  I popped them in the freezer again for a bit and they were good to go!  Super easy and Tyler loved them!  I also used raspberry yogurt, mixed with a few chocolate chips for Ellie and I to share.  Just like her mama, Ellie seemed to love the sprinkles the most and picked them all of the bottom before diving into the rest of the pop.

Looking forward to testing out some more recipes soon!

3.)  Not loving the fact that I already had to throw my succulents out.   Sometimes I don't know why I even bother because these thumbs are clearly not green... but, I really love this pallet planter idea.  So pretty, right?!  The candles are definitely the icing on the cake.

4.)  I've been keeping my eyes peeled for things for Ellie's new room so I can collect them over the next couple months.  These $5 printables will definitely be making the cut!

5.)  If you follow me on Instagram (@linleynoel), you might have already seen this photo.  Whitnie from Stella & Lu sent over this beautiful lovey for Ells, and I am obsessed.  They have loveys, blankets, boppy covers and crib sheets that are all so soft and so pretty.  It was really hard to pick just one fabric because they're all so gorgeous, but I went with the pink sprigs with a ivory faux llama backing and a pink ribbon (find the exact one here).  Whitnie welcomes custom orders and there are tons of options to choose from for both boys and girls.  You really can't go wrong with a print, but I highly recommend the faux llama backing! I actually picked it because I thought Ellie might think it feels like her kitties who she loves to pet, and it's just. so. fluffy.  Be sure to check out her shop - your floral loving hearts won't be sorry! ;)

6.)  Donut jammies.  Two of my favorite things combined on a messy-haired little girl?  Too much sweetness.  Adding those to the wish list!

7.)  This nail polish in "Sheer Ecstasy" that is a really pretty neutral.  Even though it's light, it only takes two coats to cover.  Plus, lighter colored nails make your skin look tanner! ;)

8.)  Target sales.  All of their clothes, shoes & accessories are buy one, get one 50% right now.  Perfect time to grab a few summery items because we all know the early fall stuff will be out not too long after the Fourth of July.  Anyone else cringe when they see the "back to school" displays taking over the outdoor furniture area just a few weeks after school actually gets out?!  Long live summer, my friends.

Hope your week is off to a great start! :)

Yesterday while watching your snapchats Isla said, "Oh is that Ellie?! Wow, she's getting so big! Can she talk yet?" HAHAHA ok child thanks for the adult-ish inquiry into Ellie's life ;) & as usual..she said she wishes she could visit her :( Me too kiddo!
