Another weekend in the books already. Friday night I just about died of cuteness overload when I came home to Ellie with a ponytail spout on top of her head. My mother-in-law is clearly some kind of a ninja because Ellie would never let me do that with her hair. ;) Saturday was pretty uneventful, like a wild night staying up late folding laundry kind of day, but definitely productive. We got some chores done and spent a decent amount of time organizing and decluttering the house. A very small dent in the amount of work we need to do, but it felt good to get some stuff done!
We had a slow Sunday morning - candles, some rain and hanging out in our jammies. We headed over to my parents' house in the afternoon. In between giving six cutie kitties two hundred kisses each, Tyler and I snuck out for dinner + one apparently strong drink to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This coming Wednesday marks three years! Since we've been together over twelve, it feels a little bit longer than three years, but in a good way. :) Of course it was nice to get a couple hours alone together... and to eat an entire meal without worrying about feeding a tiny human or picking up half a meal off the floor afterwards! Special thanks to Grammie, Grampy + Auntie Whit for watching our sweet Ellie girl.

If you happen to be a fellow cat lover, you will be happy to know that all five babies have found homes! These cuties went a little social media viral and there is apparently quite the demand - not surprisingly, of course! ;) Four of the babes will be going in pairs and the fifth will be staying at my parents' with her kitty mama. We will miss them but it's a happily ever after for all. :)
In other news, I got to try out some awesome Rodan + Fields skin care products this weekend. A big high five for being able to give myself a mini at-home facial - it seriously made my skin feel SO fresh and clean! My skin is something I struggle with, so I am always open to trying out new things. Rodan + Fields is the #1 premium acne brand in the U.S. and is recommended to me by a fellow mama + consultant I met through the Instagram community. I highly recommend checking out the website and contacting Nicki for more information if you're interested in learning more!
Hope you have a great start to your week! :)
